EV Charging
EV Charger Installation in Woodway, WA
The charger is the biggest single load most houses here add. Whether yours needs a sub-panel or just two spare slots is arithmetic, and we do it before quoting. Ask on (000) 000-0000.

Chargers are continuous loads, sized at 125 percent of their rating, so a 48-amp unit needs a 60-amp breaker. On wooded lots with long garage runs the distance matters as much as the capacity, because voltage drop over a hundred feet is not a rounding error.
How it runs
What the job looks like
01
Calculate the real load
We total what is connected and what is actually drawn, then say what is spare.
02
Plan the run and the position
Where it hangs, how the cable gets there, and what the distance does to conductor size.
03
Install and prove it
Circuit in, charger set to the right amperage, watched through a full-rate charge.
Detail
What we watch for
- Load management considered first — sharing capacity usually beats a service upgrade, and overnight charging never notices
- Conductor sized for the distance — long runs to a detached garage need upsizing, not hoping
- Reach measured to the car's port — not to the nearest wall
- Permit filed — EV circuits are inspected work
Our work
What is covered
The installation itself carries a two-year workmanship warranty, covering the connections and terminations we made. Equipment keeps its own manufacturer cover.
Questions
Asked often
Will I need a bigger service?
Often not. A 200-amp service usually has room once the load is calculated honestly, and where it does not, load management lets the charger share with the heat pump instead of forcing an upgrade.
Is the garage too far away?
Distance is a conductor-size question rather than a blocker. We measure the run and size the cable so the charger sees the voltage it expects, which is exactly the part that gets skipped when it is guessed.
